UNV - Share the Story (Zambia)

In Zambia, the UK Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) helps increase the capacity of community schools to improve children's well-being and development. In a country where 18% of the population is HIV-positive and poverty prevents children to get any form of education, the Zambia Open Community Schools (ZOCS) provide education to around 57,000 children.
Meet a welsh VSO volunteer who shares her professional experience to develop sustainable HR & management skills with ZOCS. By developing long-term partnerships, communities are empowered and can tackle poverty and other issues they face.
