After 3 months on assignment, you will – and you’ll be fully engaged as part of the team.  Although you and your supervisor will have regular performance discussions, it’s good to periodically solicit input, provide feedback, and reflect on your experience. How do you feel you are performing? Are you challenging yourself to learn, grown and get results?

You should be feeling more comfortable by now and ready to take on more responsibility - show eagerness to demonstrate your ability to deliver on assigned goals. Continue introducing yourself to and building rapport with colleagues and peers across all levels to better understand the organization culture. You should feel well introduced to the system and integrated as part of the team.

You are officially appointed as a UN Volunteer as of the date you start your service. We are excited for you get started and hope that you will have a positive and rewarding experience. 

Upon arrival, your Host Entity and/or UNV Representative (UNV Programme Assistant or UNDP Focal Person, if present) will provide you a briefing covering, but not limited to, the following topics.
